No Charging, No Worries! Up To 6 Months of Battery Life

Posted on

How much time in life do you spent charging your devices?

Low battery, the world’s most hated notification.

Somehow, it conveniently only ever shows up when there’s no charging outlet in sight. Then you’re left without your device, usually at the worst time imaginable.

It seems like nowadays everything needs to be charged in order to be used. Phones, laptops, fitness trackers, smartwatches, and the list only keeps growing. As much as technology makes our life easier, it also brings the added worry of ‘Did I remember to charge my [insert device]?’. If you forget to charge it, you can forget about using it.

Not ideal, right?

Especially with those day to day things you kind of need 24/7 in order to be able to properly use them. When creating our smart jewelry line, Leaf, we took all of that into consideration to provide you with a carefree experience.

No charging? No worries!

Or at the very least, less worries.

Our wellness tracker is powered by a lithium coin cell battery, typically used to power watches, which means it comes with up to 6 months of battery life.

You activate your gorgeous smart jewelry piece, and you’re good to go for the next 4-6 months. Not only that, but we believe that everyone can use a moment without staring into a screen. A moment where you’re not worried about numbers you think you’re supposed to hit or events that are happening beyond your control. That’s one of the reasons why we didn’t include a screen on our wellness tracker and made sure the device has a 14-day memory storage. If any certain day you’re not able to sync your Leaf, or just want to take a break from technology, you can rest assured that your data will still be safely stored, waiting for you to double tap and sync.

That feeling when you go camping and your fitness tracker battery dies...

No more of that feeling!

Go climb a mountain. Pull up a tent in nature somewhere. Have a picnic with your loved ones. No matter where you go, what you decide to do, or how long you decide to do it for, your wellness tracker will be your faithful companion and help you log every moment. There’s no more forgetting and then missing out on precious data!

What are your thoughts?

Do you like the convenience of a 6-month battery life?

I received the time for Christmas and my battery is already showing low battery. Plus, it isn’t tracking any of my steps or activity. Extremely difficulty to sync, you have to double tap hard and several times. So, it’s basically a $200 watch. I’m not very happy.

4 Weeks!! That’s how long my battery lasted. I disabled all the activity alarms, and changed the battery. Next day LOW BATTERY message again on the app!

    Regretting my purchase

The battery that came with my leaf ladtedy about 6 months. None of the replacements have.
How about a low battery indicator?

  • Cindy: November 09, 2018

My battery lasted 11 months! I sink at least once a day and always wear it. Love this product.

  • Farrah Kennedy: October 31, 2018

I feel like I change my battery every 2-3 months if I’m syncing at least every other day if not every day to check on my activity level. Even though I LOVE my leaf and get lots of compliments, the battery thing is such a pain!

There is enough single-use waste in the world and batteries are a big part of that problem. If you’re not going to switch to a rechargeable battery design, then you should direct people to rechargeable lithium batteries and chargers or sell them yourself. They already exist. This is a simple problem to solve.

I have yet to have a battery last 6 months. The most has been 3.

  • Sylvia Lee: October 26, 2018

How about a low battery indicator? Even though there is good battery life I don’t want it to die during a major trip from home or to have additional things to pack.

  • Maria Sal: October 26, 2018

I like the replacable battery bcuz I’m prone to forgetting so I always have the low battery on my phone haha

  • Darya Rozman: October 25, 2018

I would prefer the ability of charging the battery.
